Deliciously Sweet Allspice Banana Split Recipe

There is no denying that winter is the perfect season for staying curled up on the couch and devouring an indulging, freshly baked dessert... and leaving this behind to venture out into the cold is not one on the top of the to do list.

And we have just the recipe for your night in on the couch, a deliciously sweet and moreish Allspice Banana Split – thanks to our friend Lia Townsend @stories_to_gather, inspired by our Vanilla Bean & Allspice fragrance, it will have you coming back for more.

Think crispy battered bananas rolled in cinnamon sugar, topped with vanilla bean ice cream, fresh Chantilly cream, hot syrupy chocolate and sweet cherries. So, consider this your permission slip to turning your mundane night on the couch to an elevated moment.

Makes: 2

Prep Time: 15 minutes

1 cup white sugar (or vanilla sugar).
*If you prefer to use Vanilla Sugar. Follow these steps, combine Caster Sugar and split Vanilla Beans in a jar, then infuse for 2 weeks.
1 tsp cinnamon
Pinch allspice
2x Bananas
Ice cream (we went classic vanilla and chocolate)
Whipped cream
Melted Chocolate (you could also use chocolate topping or ice magic)
Maraschino Cherries
Step 1. Combine sugar, cinnamon and allspice in a bowl or rimmed plate (larger enough for the banana to fit).

Step 2. Slice the banana in half lengthways and gently toss in the spiced sugar mix so the bananas are completely coated.

Step 3. Scoop the ice cream into your bowl and place the coated bananas on either side

Step 4. Drizzle melted chocolate or a topping of your choice, add whipped cream and finish with maraschino cherries.

Now that you have the perfect dessert, continue the creamy and warm ambience throughout your home with our Vanilla Bean & Allspice 250ml Fragrance Diffuser. Always on, the calming blend will continue to shroud your space with a comforting cuddle all night long.
